Around the year 2000, I was persuaded by The Buffalo News art critic Richard Huntington, to try my hand at writing art reviews.  I found the idea intimidating, so naturally I agreed to try it.  Writing is an unnatural act for me.  I was a straight C English student in high school and the standards weren’t very high.
